Valentines Day Ideas: Party Celebration

29764Who said that Valentines Day can spend alone only with the person you love? But what if you don’t have a special someone to spend it with? Whoever said that, well, they are wrong. I think this day will become more especial and memorable if you would also spend it with special people in your life. Yes, you could just hang out alone or spend the rest of the day at work or go out with a bunch of friends. But it would be much fun if you will spend this day with those people you care about. And a great idea for this is a Valentine’s Day party! Here are the Valentine’s Day party ideas that you should pay attention with:

The Theme: This will identify what kind of Valentine’s party you will have. Make sure to make it fun so that everyone will enjoy it and remember this day. Some fun party themes are popular men and women clichés, well known couples, costumes, and dinner mystery. With these themes, your guests will surely participate and enjoy the party.

Valentine’s Day Decor: Of course, use the usual color for your party to make the ambiance become a really Valentine’s Day. Bows and arrows are also perfect for this since they are representing “Mr. Cupid”, these should also be seen all over the place. You may also want to made roses out of tissue paper, floral tape, and pipe cleaners and place them in vases and twisted into garlands to hang around your home to make your Valentine’s Day party fun.

Food and Drinks: Since it is Valentines Day cranberry juice and grenadine make great additions to turn them a Valentine’s Day inspired red or pink. Of course, champagne is the perfect drink for this day. You may also consider Fondue meal for your party or include aphrodisiac foods. Make the party fun with almonds, vanilla, sage, oyster, nuts and asparagus. Don’t forget to make or order a heart shape cake for the party.

Valentine’s Day Games: This will be the highlight of your Valentine’s Day party! No party is complete without a game so make sure to make it fun! A fun party game for your guest would be the celebrity couple trivia game; this will require them to answer questions about celebrity scandals. Another game is the true or false game. Divide your guests into group and ask the true or false questions. You can base your questions on sex, relationship, love and marriage.

Remember, there are lots of ways to make your Valentine’s Day party special and unforgettable. Being the host, you need to make sure that all your guests will not get bore and enjoy your party.

This goes with anything engraved, monogrammed, or otherwise personalized. These are unique and thoughtful gift for him! Some great choices are monogrammed bathrobes, engraved money clips, or personalized sporting success.

Lavish Gifts

Buy him something that he would never go out to shop and buy for himself like for examples, a designer tie, a special watch, or a vintage copy of a favorite book. Designer version of everyday items like wallets hats, or bags are great gifts too. This way, you’re making him feel that he deserves the very best in quality.

Get Tech

For us girls, there’s nothing romantic about receiving a gadget or a piece of technology. While men on the other hand, are known to long for technology like the way women long for diamonds. A simple rule of the thumb is that, choose the very best you can afford.

Get Adventurous

Guys love things they can do! Give him something that he can do on his own, or something the both of you can do together. For example: scuba diving lesson, skydiving, or some other exciting day activity. This is a great way to capture his heart!

Romance means different things to different people. Shopping for men and looking a Valentines Day gift could be hard since they seem to have everything they want! But think of something that he will be happy to do or have and it would be easy for you to find him a gift.

It doesn’t matter if you have a tight budget for the Valentines Day. Like what the popular phrase says, “it’s the though that counts!” All you have to do is to make the both you feel so special during this day. Make this day perfect and a day to remember in a frugal way.

One of the cheapest dates that you could do is a road trip. So what the both of you can do?

  1. Listen to the music.

Consider making a mix of songs that remind the both of you of your relationship. If you also like, include the number one song from each month you have been together. You ma as well download songs from the yea you were born for a fun twist on the tunes. Remember the music can make this day special, so don’t ignore it!

  1. Have something to bite.

Though you want your date as cheap as it may, food is of the date! It has been said that food is the one of the greatest pleasures of life that every few hours we need to stop what we are doing and enjoy some delicious food. Why not pack a picnic lunch? You may include sandwiches, salads, juice, and snacks and these foods can be packed up the night before. Of course don’t forget to bring a quilt with you so that when you get hungry, you can just look for a nice spot and enjoy your meal together.

  1. Stop Here and There

Another good idea to make your “road trip Valentine’s day date” is to really stop and enjoy the sights as you go. Like what other people say, “It’s good to have an end to journey towards, but it’s the journey that matters in the end.”

  1. Make A Memory

On this special day, don’t ever forget to bring the camera with you! Pick up brochures and little souvenirs as you go. Put all these photos in a scrap book to make a memory book as you go.

Who said you can’t do this? In fact you can play some romantic games in he car! A fun twist on “eye spy” is to look for different couples on the road. You can also make a quiz about each other and the relationship like “when was our first kiss?” Make a list of destinations you want to travel together and talk about your goals in life and how you see yourself five years from now.

A road trip is a perfect way to spend your Valentine’s Day with your love one plus it’s a wonderful way to pass the time together and spend the time with each other.
