Valentines Day Ideas For Single

So the town is field with decorated heart, arrows and cupid cuts colored paper and wherever you go you can feel the ambiance of Valentine’s Day reminding you that it’s the time to remember your special someone on this special day for lovers. But for you, a single person, feels alone and sad this day. And you are thinking what you should do to make your day a special one even without a “sweetie”. To have an idea, check out these following suggestions on how you will celebrate Valentines Day as a single.

  1. Treat yourself and spend a day at the spa.
  2. Plan an intimate dinner for 3 or 4 person.
  3. Go ice-skating with a fun friend or watch movies.
  4. Hang out and dinner a movie with a group of other singles.
  5. Think of the things you want to do and make a conscious decision on how to mark the day.
  6. Nowadays, anti-Valentine’s day is becoming popular and can be a lot of silly fun. Why not attend one or perhaps throw one on your own.

For the meantime, design a relationship-building plan:

  1. Spend some time in front of the computer or with pen and paper in hand and get your plan written down.
  2. Start with making a list of resources that you can used to help you meet available singles. For example, on-line dating sites, single groups, volunteer activities, or participation in sports, or other activities that you know you will enjoy.
  3. Make a budget for both time and available funds for this purpose.
  4. Do some research about the information that you can use.

Try to reassess those resolutions you made, or if you haven’t done it yet, make one. Think about the things you are interested with. Being a single one doesn’t mean you have no the right to make this day a happy and memorable one. There are many things you can actually do to make this day a special one even though you don’t have a sweetheart to celebrate it with.

    Don’t forget, single people, love isn’t meant to be hoarded. Just because couples tend to oooh and aaah over each other does not mean that we have to have ONE person to share it with.

    Remember when we were kids and we gave valentines to ALL the girls in our class?

  5. Agree.. for singles, they can spend their Valentines Day by hanging out with friends. It doesn’t mean singles can’t celebrate it too :)
