“Say It with Flowers”

Valentine’s Day is just so special that everyone finds themselves looking for something to give their loved one something really special. The best valentine gift idea that could express what one really means.

Flowers, particularly “roses” have been associated with Valentine’s Day for such a long time. Others just choose a flower for no reason at all. But do you know that the colors of these flowers have symbolic meaning?

Don’t just give those flowers without knowing their meanings. Be careful because you might send them the wrong message.

  • A red rose signifies one’s love for a woman. Red is also the shade of courage and respect, so if one receives a bouquet of red roses that could mean a lot of love and respect.
  • A white rose symbolizes innocence and purity. Mixing a red and white rose could only mean pure intentions of loving a person.
  • A pink rose stands for grace and admiration. If you receive one, it could only mean that you are attractive and admired as well.
  • A yellow rose no longer signifies jealousy. It means delight, gladness and friendship. Give one a friend to express how much you appreciate your friendship.
  • A yellow with a red tip could mean that a friend is already at the point of looking at you as someone who is much more than just a friend. It could mean friends falling in love.
  • Orange signifies desire, could be given to a partner in life.
  • Peach sends out the sign of inviting someone; could be a romantic dinner or a friendly date.
  • Receiving lavender colored flower means that you caught his attention at first sight. Lavender means enchantment or love at first sight.

Now you would probably realize that there is truth to the saying “say it with flowers”.  Sending flower for Valentine’s is a cute Valentine’s Day gift idea. Never make the mistake of sending the wrong color to a person because you might find yourself sending the wrong signals.
